6.1 EDK - XMD is unable to debug a Virtex-II ProX 2VPX20 device

General Description:
XMD detects a 2VPX20 part in my JTAG chain correctly, but errors are reported later in the process. (Note that the 2VPX20 part has an IR length of 10, i.e., JTAG tap plus one processor.)

Solution

This problem is fixed in the latest 6.1 EDK Service Pack, available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/ise/embedded/edk.htm.
The first service pack containing the fix is EDK 6.1 Service Pack 2.
