When loading a VCD file into XPower, I receive warning messages similar to the following:

"WARNING:Power:91 - Can't change frequency of net GLOBAL_LOGIC1 to 0.16Mhz.
WARNING:Power:91 - Can't change frequency of net GLOBAL_LOGIC0 to 0.16Mhz.
WARNING:Power:91 - Can't change frequency of net GLOBAL_LOGIC0_0 to 0.16Mhz.
WARNING:Power:91 - Can't change frequency of net GLOBAL_LOGIC1_0 to 0.16Mhz."

Solution

You can safely ignore these messages relating to global_logic signals; they will be suppressed in a future release of design tools. If the net is not a global_logicXX signal, please submit the design files to Xilinx Technical Support for analysis.
