6.2.02 Floorplanner - Error in automatically creating "ngc" file for a RPM when Leonardo used

Keywords : Floorplanner, Leonardo, RPM, UCF

Urgency : Low

General Description :
This problem occurs when you are creating an RPM in Floorplanner.

If you are writing the RPM to "ucf" and you select the automatically generate a "ngc" file option, you receive an error message "ngcbuild did not run successfully "

If you look at the log file, the error is reported as:

"ERROR:NgdBuild:15 - Missing "-p" option and no target architecture available! A
target architecture/device must be specified either on the NGCBUILD command
line or in the source netlist."

This happens only when you use Leonardo Spectrum to synthesis your code.

To work around this issue, run the ngcbuild in command line using the -p switch to specify the part.

ngcbuild -p xc2v4000-6bf957 -uc myucft.ucf stm1filename.edn rpm_file.ngc
