General Description:
When trying to run NetGen on my design with Hierarchical Blocks, the following two error messages are reported by NetGen:

"ERROR:Anno - Cannot correlate logic element '"U1/U1/SLAVEBUF.DIFFIN"
(tag=7 in view "FRAGCOVERED")' is with this component 'in_n' - cannot
continue
hierarchical correlation)"

"ERROR:Anno - Cannot correlate logic element
'"ppc1/myplb2opb/myplb2opb/XFER_IF_I/DPRAM_I59/ppc1/myplb2opb/myplb2opb/XFER_
IF_I/DPRAM_I59/DP" (tag=4449 in view "FRAGCOVERED")' is with this component

Solution

This problem is caused by how the NGM file is created.

This problem has been fixed in the latest 6.2i Service Pack available at:
http://support.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 6.2i Service Pack 3.
