6.2i COREGen - Unable to customize a licensed IP Core. Customization GUI does not open. Non-licensed cores can be successfully generated

Keywords: COREGen, free, non, IP, core, EDK, 6.2, ip_update, service, pack, 1, license, UnsatisfiedLinkError, LicenseDeniedException

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
The generation of non-free IPCores does not work with the CORE Generator. The license for the core is found and valid, but no customization window will be opened. All non-licensed cores can be generated successfully.

Running COREGen with the -d option shows the following message immediately after an attempt to launch a customization GUI:

"Debug-all: Gui table: LAUNCH
Debug-all: DEBUG MODE - display stacktrace:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: getEvalConstantN"

If COREGen is run with Java in verbose mode, the additional message below appears immediately after Launch:

"[Loaded com.xilinx.coreutil.toolkit.LicenseFile]
[Loaded com.xilinx.coreutil.exception.LicenseDeniedException]"

This is due to incompatibility between ISE 6.2i and EDK 6.2 SP1 installed on the same machine. This issue is fixed in EDK 6.2 SP2.
