6.2 EDK - Block Diagram Editor does not connect interrupts properly

Description

Keywords: EDK, XPS, PBD, Interrupts

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
Instantiate an OPB Interrupt Controller in the PBDE:

1. Click Object Properties -> Interrupts.
2. Add interrupts from other IPs such as debug_module, RS232, and so forth.
3. Click OK.

On clicking OK, it is expected that the interrupt ports are written out for the debug_module and RS232. These ports then need to be connected to the Interrupt Controllers Intr Port. The connection to the INTR port of the interrupt controller does exist, but the interrupt port connections from the debug_module and RS232 are not present.

Solution

Interrupts can be connected using the Add/Edit Cores dialog or the MHS file directly.

This will be fixed in a future software release.
