How do I reset the CIC filter since it does not have a reset pin?

The CIC filter currently does not support reset.

If you need a CIC that can be reset, you should consider using the CIC reference design provided with System Generator for DSP. This reference design can be modified to meet your requirements.

Also the CIC provided with the DUC (Digital Up Convertor) IP for System Generator for DSP is reset internally when the rate changes. Therefore, you can toggle the rate change enable signal and keep the same rate to internally reset the core.
