6.3i TMRTool - "ERROR:NgdBuild:196 ... Problem parsing ")". This likely means the EDIF netlist was improperly written..."

Keywords: export, netlist, NGDBuild

General Description:
When attempting to translate the post-XTMR netlist, NGDBuild returns the following errors:

"ERROR:NgdBuild:196 - On or above line XXXX in the file "<filename.edf>": Problem parsing ")". This likely means that the EDIF netlist was improperly written...
ERROR:NgdBuild:276 -
ERROR:NgdBuild:28 - "

NOTE: This issue ONLY applies to TMRTool Application Version 2.1.14.

This application version of TMRTool is placing an extra ")" at the end of the netlist.

You can work around this problem by opening the netlist in a text editor and removing the final ")" in the ".edf" file.

To edit the file using ISE, right-click the EDIF source under "Sources in Project:" and select "Open." The ".edf" file will open in the ISE text editor. Scroll to the very bottom of the file and delete the last character, which is the extra ")".

This problem is fixed in 7.1i TMRTool.
