Why can I not meet the data sheet timing numbers for Virtex-4 implementations of the xFFT?

Solution


These numbers were incorrectly generated on Post-MAP designs, and did not have any routing delays. The expected results for the xFFT v3.1 should be about 300MHz, and can vary depending on the configuration. 

 

The next version of the xFFT will include speed improvements.
