LogiCORE Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) v5.0 - Why does the Channel output behave in an unexpected manner?

Description

Why does the Channel output behave in an unexpected manner?

Solution

If 3+ channels are used, the data sheet indicates the channel in the expected manner -- "00" for 0, "01" for 1, etc. However, if two channels are used, the DDS does not behave in the expected manner, but instead the output is "1" for channel 0 and "0" for channel 1.
