General Description:
After I install IP Update 2, when I create or recustomize a COREGen IP Core through Project Navigator, I receive the following error:
"_pn.exe Application error - Software exception (0xe06d7363)"
In addition, the following Project Navigator processes are broken when IP Update 2 is installed:
- Core customization - Select Project -> New Source -> IP (COREGen & Architecture Wizard) and choose a CORE Generator core.
- Core re-customization - Open a Core customization window by double-clicking the ".xco" file name in the Sources in Project window.
The Manage Cores and Regenerate Core processes work correctly. Running COREGen standalone works correctly.
Project Navigator exits and the following error message occurs:
Windows platforms:
"_pn.exe - Application error.
The exception unknown software exception (0xe06d7363) occurred in the application at location 0x7c81eb33"
Unix platforms:
"FATAL_ERROR:PersonalityModule:baspmdlm.c:171:1.23 - dll library <DrmVirt4_Cellmodel> does not exist.
Process will terminate.

Solution
This problem has been fixed in ISE 7.1i Coregen IP Update 3.To solve the issue open Core Generator in stand alone mode and select Tools -> IP Updates installer and install IP Update 3
If you are unable to install IP Update 3 at this time, the error may be avoided by using CORE Generator in standalone mode and then adding the core to the Project Navigator project using Project -> Add Copy of Source.
