Description

Keyword: Phase, aligned, 13349, work around, workaround, clocking

Urgency : Standard

General Description:
I am instantiating a DCM using Architecture Wizard for a Virtex-4, and I receive a warning that negative fixed phase shift does not work. Is this true? What do I need to do?

Solution

Solution:
For a design targeting Virtex-4 DCM, this is a false warning and can be safely ignored. There are no additional steps needed to give the DCM a negative fixed phase shift. Architecture Wizard will instantiate your DCM with a negative phase shift.
