8.1i ISE - Project Navigator fails to simulate Custom Simulation Command File with spaces in name on Linux OS - Segmentation Fault (core dump)

Keywords: TCL, custom, ISIM, simulation, Linux, UNIX, platform

A custom Simulation Command File is added to a project process as follows:

1. Right-click Simulate Behavioral Model process.
2. Select "Properties...".
3. Check "Use Custom Simulation Command File".
4. Browse to a TCL file intended as a Custom Simulation Command File.

If the selected TCL file has a space in the name (for example, 'my cmd.tcl') and if the project is being run on a Linux platform, executing the Simulate Behavioral Model might cause a segmentation fault during simulation.

Rename the TCL file to a name that does not include spaces in order to use as a Custom Simulation Command File on Linux.
