AR# 22439 8.1i ISE / EDK - Behavioral Simulation does not allow a user to specify the configuration name in a simulation test bench

Description

The configuration name is used in a test bench to initialize the Processor Memory with the software application code. In ISE 8.1i, Project Navigator does not have a Behavioral Simulation property which allows the user to specify a configuration name.

Solution


This issue is fixed in the latest 8.1i Service Pack, available at:

http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 8.1i Service Pack 1.



A process has be added to the Behavioral Simulation Properties to add a Configuration Name.
