Description
Keywords: Verilog, VHDL, ABEL, UCF, Use in File
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
I am not able to select a Language Template construct in the left-hand pane of the Language Template Window and drag and drop it into my HDL source file (or any text file).
Selecting the construct and then selecting Edit -> Use in File does not work either.
Solution
The entire content of a template should be placed in a text file in the location where you drag and drop a Language Template construct. To copy the content of a Language Template construct to a text file, do either of the following:
- Select the entire content of the template construct in the right-hand pane and drag and drop the content to the desired file.
- Select the entire content of the template construct in the right-hand pane, then copy and paste the content to the desired file.
