General Description:
XST Synthesis fails and issues the following error message:
"ERROR:Xst:1585 - Cannot open file ' '. Please make sure that the file exists and that you have read permission for it.
Process "Synthesize" failed"
Solution
This error occurs if a space character is inadvertently entered in the value field of the XST Synthesis Constraints File process property.To resolve this issue, open the XST process properties and delete any spaces from the Synthesis Constraints File field.
This problem has been fixed in the ISE 8.1i Service Pack 1, which is scheduled for release in early 2006.
