The following error appears in the Transcript window when I open a CDC file from the Library tab view of Project Navigator.

ERROR:ProjectMgmt - TOE: ITclInterp::ExecuteCmd gave Tcl result 'invalid command name "0"'.

Solution

To open the CDC file, please open the Sources view in Project Navigator and open the CDC file from there.

This problem has been fixed in the latest 8.1i Service Pack available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 8.1i Service Pack 1.
