The XPS GUI crashes when I attempt to configure a co-processor. This problem occurs for co-processors created under the following conditions:
- There are multiple versions of the same FSL core in the repository.
- They have different interfaces. In particular, the clock port names are different.
- There is no entry in the registry for the user repository path.
The problem will also occur if the co-processor on the FSL bus does not have a clock.
Solution
This problem has been fixed in the latest EDK 8.1i Service Pack, available at:http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is EDK 8.1i Service Pack 1.
