8.1i COMPXLIB - The following error occurs when libraries are compiled on Windows: "ERROR:CAEInterfaces - child process Failed"

In a Windows platform, when I compile libraries for ModelSim on ISE 8.1i with Service Pack 2, the following errors appear in the log file:
"-> Compiling Verilog XilinxCoreLib library
ERROR:CAEInterfaces - child process Failed
ERROR:CAEInterfaces - Command Line: echo"
No errors are reported in the compilation summary at the end of the file.
Solution
This error can be safely ignored.Compxlib has an issue where it was writing out 'echo' command to the OS, and 'echo' is not supported in the windows OS. Because of this, the error about the child process occurs.
This issue is fixed in ISE 8.1i Service Pack 3.
