8.2i ISE - Project Navigator process status and partition information is lost when snapshot is made current

After restoring a snapshot of a design that contains partitions, the partition information is not saved and I have to re-create the partitions in my design. The process status indicators are also set to orange check marks indicating that all processes are out of date.
