AR# 23535 8.1i CORE Generator - The IPupdate.log is not properly updated when installing IP update 1 for ISE 8.1i (IP1_I)

After installing the IP update 1 for ISE 8.1i, using the Updates Installer, the IPupdate.log info does not appear complete.
All it contained was the following text:
Thu Jan 12 03:49:33 MST 2006:: cores_level=1
Latest IP update installed: IP1_I
List of cores (IP1_I):
pci32_v3_155
pci64_v3_155


Solution

The IPupdate.log for IP Update 1 will not contain a complete list of cores that were installed. To see a list of new cores that should be installed with the IP Update and for a complete list of available cores, please go to: http://www.xilinx.com/ipcenter/coregen/81i_1_datasheets.htm.
