AR# 23550 8.2i ISE - Running the MPPR option "Copy result to Working Directory" causes project processes to go out-of-date

Keywords: Implementation, place, route, map, translate, Implement Design, orange, question mark, status

After running MPPR on a project, if a result other than the default (best result is placed in working directory by default) is copied to the working directory, it causes MPPR to go out-of-date and PAR must be run again. Copying over the MPPR results with the "Copy result to Working Directory" option should only cause the bit file to go out-of-date.

This problem has been fixed in the latest 8.2i Service Pack available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 8.2i Service Pack 1.
