How do I manage a ChipScope core with an EDK sub-system? I need my ChipScope core to attach to logic that is not part of the EDK system when targeting chips that have only one BSCAN component.

Solution

The simplest method is to insert the ChipScope cores in your EDK system and then make the required ChipScope signals external. Once those signals are external, they will be available to the rest of the non-processor design when your processor system is instantiated.
