When running a Floating Point Verification (Verify -floatingpoint) on the AccelWare "rdivide" Block, the following MATLAB message occurs:
"Warning: Divide by zero"
This warning message is not a problem because it is not associated with the synthesizable portion of the "rdivide" block (rdivied_001.m) but with the script file that tests the behavior of the "rdivide" (rdivide_001_script.m). In that script file, we calculate the ideal results via the statement:
referenceIdeal = A./B;
where 'A' and 'B' are the inputs to "rdivide". The results from "rdivide" are compared against the "referenceIdeal". The warning message happens when a zero value exists in 'B'.
