When building a VxWorks image for normal ROM booting, there is an error in the "romInit.s" associated with the 5.5 BSP generated by EDK. The stack is incorrectly initialized, resulting in the processor not booting.

Solution

This problem has been fixed in the latest EDK 8.2i Service Pack, available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is EDK 8.2i Service Pack 1.
