8.2i SP3 XST - Unable to generate cores in CORE Generator, or the core netlist is empty

I am unable to generate the following cores in ISE 8.2i sp3, or the core netlist generated is empty:
- FIR compiler V 1.0
- DVB S2 Encoder
- DA FIR V 9.0
- MAC FIR V 5.1
- FIFO Generator V 2.3
Solution
This issue is fixed in ISE 9.1i. The fix is also available with the LXT patch for ISE 8.2i from the Download Center:http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
Xilinx highly recommends that you download this patch, even if you are not going to be using one of the above cores.
