If I have Firefox selected as my default browser in Windows, and when I open the Floorplan Editor or another tool and press F1 for Help, the Help for the tool should be available, but instead the ISE overview page is displayed.

Solution

This issue is a result of a limitation in the software (RoboHelp) used to create the ISE documentation. This tool is unable to handle Java scripts, which are needed for Firefox.

If you are using Firefox as your default browser, you must open the ISE documentation and browse to the applicable Help from the ISE overview starting point.
