I cannot generate an NGC, Bitstream, Timing Analysis, or Hardware in the loop target when using Synplify as my synthesis tool. Why?

Solution

This issue occurs because Synplify requires a floating license to run in batch mode, and all of the flows listed above use Synplify in batch mode.

If you have a floating license, you will be able to run any of the flows supported by System Generator for DSP.
