8.2.03i ChipScope Pro - I cannot connect to my cable in ChipScope on Linux. Why?

Description

When using ChipScope Analyzer on Linux in 8.2.03i, you might be unable to connect to the JTAG cable. If "cs_server.sh" is launched, it will report that "init.tcl" could not be found and that:

"This probably means that Tcl was not installed properly."

Solution

To work around this issue, download the ".zip" file below. First back up both "cs_server.sh" and "analyzer.sh", and then replace them with the files in the ".zip".

This issue is fixed in ChipScope 8.2.04i. This problem did not exist in ChipScope 8.1 when run on Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 (32-bit).
