Why does the following warning occur when simulating Distributed Memory Generator with a MIF file?

"Warning: MIF file size does not match memory size.
Remaining addresses in memory are padded with default data."

Solution

You can safely ignore this warning message. This is a known issue in the distributed memory behavioral model. The simulation result is correct but reports an incorrect warning message. This issue is fixed in the Distributed Memory Generator Core v3.3.
