When I use XMD on a Virtual Platform, XMD generates "DebugWrite not implemented for address 0x20100000."
XMD cannot connect to the microprocessor.
This errors occurs in XMD shell and in SDK.
The error message above is generated when unsupported cores are used. VPGEN supports a limited number of IP cores. When a core is not supported, VPGEN generates a generic C templates message. Please check the VPGEN-supported core in the Embedded System Tools Reference Manual (est_rm.pdf) found at "%XILINX_EDK_INSTALL%\doc".
You can also check the log file of VPGEN. VPGEN generates this warning:
"WARNING:MDT-Generating dummy model for mch_opb_emc instance sram_256kx32..."
