What are the minimum hardware requirements for the System Monitor? If I am using only the on-chip sensors, what is required?
Solution
For information on hardware requirements, refer to the "Virtex-5 System Monitor User Guide" (UG192), Figure 23:http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/user_guides/ug192.pdf
The System Monitor must be correctly powered even if you are using only the on-chip sensors. The Vccaux and Vccint supplies must also be powered. Vp and Vn must be grounded if not used.
