When I try to assign a package pin in Floorplanner on my Virtex-5 design, the following error occurs:
"FATAL_ERROR:GuiUtilities:Gq_Application.c:578:1.17-This application has discovered an exceptional condition from which is cannot recover. Process will terminate. For more information on this error, please consult the Answers Database or open a WebCase with this project attached at http://www.xilinx.xom/support."
When is this issue going to be fixed?
Solution
This problem has been fixed in the latest 9.2i Service Pack available at:http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 9.2i Service Pack 1.
