ISE 9.2i - Generating specific IP cores through Project -> New Source results in error: "ERROR:ProjectMgmt - TOE: ITclInterp::ExecuteCmd gave Tcl result 'invalid command name "::_xmdf::xmdfInit"'

The RocketIO GTP WizardGTP v1.5 and Gigabit Ethernet Mac v8.2 fail when generated in Project Navigator with the following Tcl error:

For the Gigabit Ethernet Mac Core, replace "Rocket" with "Gig_Eth_Mac" in the above error.

This is not reproducible for CORE Generator in standalone mode.

The general issue causing this error has been fixed in the latest 9.2i Service Pack available at:

The first service pack containing the fix is 9.2i Service Pack 1.

There have been a small number of instances of this error reported in ISE 9.2.01i and later when using certain settings of the GTP RocketIO core.

Specifically, the error was reported using XAUI or SATA default settings.

To avoid this problem, open CORE Generator standalone to generate the desired core.
