9.2i ISE - In Project Navigator the Synplify Pro cannot be selected when targeting Spartan-3A DSP

Why is it that Synplify Pro cannot be used as synthesis tool in Project Navigator 9.2i when targeting a Spartan-3A DSP?
Solution
Synplify Pro 8.8.04 is the first version supporting Spartan-3A DSP.This problem has been fixed in the latest 9.2i Service Pack available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 9.2i Service Pack 3.
