10.1 CORE Generator - ERROR:coreutil - Portability:74 when generating a LogiCORE Aurora Core v2.7


When generating a LogiCORE Aurora Core, the following error messages occur:

ERROR:coreutil - Portability:74 - ************************************************

:UnCompress() : (Z_DATA_ERROR) input data was corrupted.

ERROR:coreutil - Failure to get core class.

ERROR:coreutil - Failure to generate output products

ERROR:coreutil - An error occurred while running Java. Please examine the console or coregen log file for a specific IP related error.

ERROR:sim:57 - Error found during generation


Instructing CORE Generator to request 512 Mbytes of memory, when initializing the JVM, has shown to resolve these error messages.

To instruct CORE Generator to request 512 Mbytes of memory for Java:

- Use the following command to start CORE Generator: "coregen -J Xmx512m"


- Change the "Memory dedicated to Java" setting under File -> Preferences...
