To install support for Virtex-4 QPro devices, your ISE version must match the Virtex-4 QPro Device Installer version or a "No Updates to Install" message will be displayed.

For each subsequent service pack release, you must rerun this device installer to stay up-to-date. Installation Instructions using the Download Center file are below. If you are using WebUpdate from ISE, the update will be installed automatically.

NOTE: This update is not available for ISE WebPACK users.

Solution

Download Center Installation Instructions

1. Download "9_2_0xi_V4_QPro.zip" from the Service Pack display page.

2. Unzip the file to an empty "staging" area that is separate from your Service Pack staging directory.

Linux Example:

mv 9_2_0xi_V4_QPro.zip /home/<staging_dir>
cd /home/<staging_dir>
unzip 9_2_0xi_V4_QPro.zip

3. Run setup(.exe).
