Description

Keywords: Japanese, Korean, Chinese, overwrite, insert, enter, delete

To input an Asian character, I use the [Space] button to see the list of different characters, and then I use the [Enter] button to input selected characters. In the 9.2i ISE Text Editor, each time I use the [Enter] button, characters already in the file are removed one by one. Consequently, new input always overwrites original characters.

Solution

This problem has been fixed in the latest 9.2i Service Pack available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 9.2i Service Pack 3.
