9.2 iMPACT: When I connect to a Platform Cable USB I get “Invalid device driver license" and the connection fails


When connecting to a Platform Cable USB, the following appears in the iMPACT console:

Connecting to cable (Usb Port - USB21).
Checking cable driver.
Driver version: 1027 (1027).
Driver windrvr6.sys version = WinDriver v8.11 Jungo (c) 1997 - 2006 Build Date: Oct 16 2006 X86 32bit SYS12:35:07, version = 811.
Invalid device driver license.
Cable connection failed.

What is the problem?


This is an issue with the Jungo driver used by the Cable on Vista. 

This issue affects only machines running Microsoft Vista and is resolved in ISE 9.2.02.
