I am running SmartXplorer on a Linux machine running SUSE Enterprise Desktop 10 (64-bit), and it fails with the error:
"libtermcap.so.2: cannot open shared object file"
What does this indicate?
Failures to successfully load shared libraries from the ISE installation are generally a case of a bad installation or bad environment variable setting. But if as in this case, the library involved is a system library, this is an indication that the Linux machine involved is running an unsupported OS.
For information on the Linux distributions that are supported, see (Xilinx Answer 20944).
