LogiCORE Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) v3.2 - Why do my FFT output results drift from the expected results and become increasingly more inaccurate the longer I simulate my design?

Description

Why do my FFT output results drift from the expected results and become increasingly more inaccurate the longer I simulate my design?

Solution

This issue was caused by a bug in the way the phase factors were being selected, and it has been resolved in the FFT v4.0.

Please see (Xilinx Answer 29209) for a detailed list of LogiCORE Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) Release Notes and Known Issues.
