MAP crashed while running my design just after the completion of Phase 15.34. Is this a known problem, and is there a way to work around this issue?
A case has been seen where MAP crashed just after Phase 15.34 while performing IDELAYCTRL optimization which involves the removal of unused IDELYCTRL components. A way to work around this situation is to disable this optimization by setting the following environment variable. Unused IDELAYCTRLs will not be removed from the design.
Windows
SET XIL_PAR_NO_IDELAYCTRL_OPT=1
Linux and Solaris
setenv XIL_PAR_NO_IDELAYCTRL_OPT 1

This problem has been fixed in the latest 10.1 Service Pack available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/support/download/
The first service pack containing the fix is 10.1 Service Pack 1.
A CR is currently under investigation for a fix in a future ISE revision.
