When I create an Area Group Range in Floorplan Editor, it places all the RANGE constraints in one line, but they are ignored.
To work around this issue, manually edit the UCF and distribute the RANGE values into separate lines in the UCF.
Example
The following is not correct:
AREA_GROUP "AG_u3" RANGE = SLICE_X79Y76:SLICE_X74Y73, DSP48_X0Y30:DSP48_X0Y30;
The following is correct:
AREA_GROUP "AG_u3" RANGE = SLICE_X79Y76:SLICE_X74Y73;
AREA_GROUP "AG_u3" RANGE = DSP48_X0Y30:DSP48_X0Y30;
This problem has been fixed in the latest 10.1 Service Pack available at:

The first service pack containing the fix is 10.1 Service Pack 3.
