10.1 EDK Install - settings32.sh and settings32.csh created even when no 32-bit applications exist on Linux 64-bit

Description

I have installed EDK on Linux 64-bit and both 32-bit and 64-bit settings files were created. However, sourcing the 32-bit settings files doesn't seem to work.

Solution

In 10.1, even though both sets of settings files are created, only the settings64.sh and settings64.csh are functional. EDK does not deliver 32-bit applications with its 64-bit installer as ISE does. You can safely remove the following 2 files from your EDK install:

settings32.sh

settings32.csh
