The JEDEC file from a readback operation on CoolRunner-II devices is incorrect. It cannot be used to program other CoolRunner-II devices.

Solution

This is a known issue with iMPACT 10.1 and 9.2i SP4. It will be resolved in a future service pack. To perform a readback, revert to a previous version of iMPACT.
