AR# 30650 10.1i Timing Analyzer - "FATAL_ERROR:TimingToolsC:Port_Main.h:143:1.13.2.3 - This application has discovered an exceptional condition"

Description

When I launch timing analyzer from the command line:

timingan HPGbE2.ncd HPGbE2.pcf

The following errors are reported:

"EXCEPTION:Xdm:ModelImp.c:687:$Id: ModelImp.c,v 1.24 2006/05/09 21:33:35 jdl Exp $ - Xdm_Exception::InvalidFileFormat format=ASCII file='/group/bcapps/chrisz/casesA/731740_hold_zero/20080318_hold/_ta_HPGbE2_auto.ngd'"

"FATAL_ERROR:TimingToolsC:Port_Main.h:143:1.13.2.3 - This application has discovered an exceptional condition from which it cannot recover. Process will terminate. For technical support on this issue, please open a WebCase with this project attached at http://www.xilinx.com/support."

Solution

This problem will be fixed in 10.1 sp2.
