NOTES:
- The destination directory specified during the setup operation must contain an existing Xilinx ChipScope Pro installation.

Installation Instructions for Windows Users

1. Download ChipScope_Pro_10_1_0<x>_<platform>.exe (where <x> is the service pack number and <platform> is either win or win64) from:
http://www.xilinx.com/download

2. Run ChipScope_Pro_10_1_0<x>_<platform>.exe

Installation Instructions for Red Hat and SUSE Linux Users

1. Download ChipScope_Pro_10_1_0<x>_<platform>.exe (where <x> is the service pack number and <platform> is either lin or lin64) from:

http://www.xilinx.com/download

2. Move the zip file to an empty "staging" area and unzip the downloaded file.

For example, for installing Service Pack 1 on 32-bit Linux systems:

mv ChipScope_Pro_10_1_01_lin.zip /home/username/tmp
cd /home/username/tmp
unzip ChipScope_Pro_10_1_01_lin.zip
chmod -R 775 * (in case the file permissions are incorrect)

3. Run ./setup
