LogiCORE Multiplier v10.1 - Why are the CE and SCLR checkboxes still enabled, even if I have a contact coefficient multiplier that is a power of 2?

Description

Why are the CE and SCLR checkboxes still enabled, even if I have a contact coefficient multiplier that is a power of 2?

Solution

These check boxes have no effect in these cases since the core implementation uses no logic, since a multiply by a power of 2 is simply a shift.

This issue has been resolved in Multiplier 11.0 and beyond.
