AR# 31092 10.1 Timing Analyzer - It crashes with reporting the segmentation fault error

When this design is opened in the Timing Analyzer, the GUI remains open for a while and then a segmentation fault is generated.

Solution

You can disable hyperlinks in the XML timing report to work around this issue. With bringing up TA, select Edit->Preferences, then uncheck the bottom checkbox which is labeled "Show Crossprobe links on Logical names".

The issue will be fixed in 10.1 Service Pack 2, and it is available at:
