The Project -> Generate Tcl Script command creates a Tcl script containing several procedures that allow a customer to restore all of the parts of a project.
When running either the create_partitions or create_libraries procedures independently from the generated Tcl script, the project is closed at the end of the procedure. Is this expected?
Yes, there is a specific call to close the project at the end of these procedures. However, upon review, the project close is not needed and possibly inconvenient.
This problem has been fixed in the latest 10.1 Service Pack available at:

The first service pack containing the fix is 10.1 Service Pack 2.
